Inter-Ministerial Working Group Reports Progress on 20th Francophonie Summit Preparation to First Lady Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet

On August 19, 2026, the Inter-Ministerial Working Group in charge of Protocol, Hospitality, and Side Events for the 20th Francophonie Summit paid a courtesy call on and reported work progress regarding preparations for the summit to First Lady Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, General Commissioner of the Girl Guides Association of Cambodia (GGAC), at the GGAC Headquarters.

On that occasion, First Lady Dr. Pich Chanmony expressed her gratitude and commended the inter-ministerial working group for its past efforts. She provided key recommendations regarding the organization of the Francophonie Summit to ensure its smooth operation and success, emphasizing warm hospitality for all national and international guests. Furthermore, she expressed strong confidence that Cambodia will capitalize on this auspicious opportunity to showcase its rich and glorious culture to the world.

Cambodia will host the 20th Francophonie Summit in Phnom Penh from November 13 to 17, 2026.
