During the visit, Mr. Phin Phakdei presented key historical insights and detailed the Outstanding Universal Value that led to Koh Ker’s inscription as a UNESCO World Heritage Site on September 17, 2023. The group toured the ongoing restoration work at Prasat Krahom and enjoyed the scenic rainy-season landscape of the resort from the summit of Prasat Prang.

Following the tour, Professor Dr. Vong Sotheara expressed his gratitude to the officials of the National Authority of Preah Vihear for their dedication to preserving ancestral heritage for future generations and for providing comprehensive historical explanations.
