About
Film Sector
The film sector is recognized as a film industry and an essential component of the creative cultural industry, playing a vital role in driving economic growth, generating employment, and promoting national identity on the international stage. In the context of the government’s digital transformation policy, the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts has developed this digital service system to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and user-friendliness of public service delivery in the film sector.
The Department of Cinema and Cultural Diffusion is responsible for managing, promoting, and developing the film industry in order to contribute to socio-economic development, safeguard cultural values, and showcase national potential. This system has been established to provide online public services and general information.
This digital service platform enables producers, businesses, and professionals in both national and international film industries to easily request public services online and access essential information about Cambodia’s film industry, including:
- Shooting permit application
- Registration of imported foreign films
- Foreign film shooting permit
- Screening license (visa) and film classification
- Coordination with relevant ministries, institutions, and authorities
- Provision of production information and consultation, as well as support for international film cooperation.
