His Excellency Ek Buntha Presides Over Legend Cinema’s 15th Anniversary Celebration
On the evening of July 11, 2026, His Excellency Ek Buntha, Under Secretary of State and High Representative of Her Excellency the Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, presided over the 15th-anniversary celebration of Legend Cinema, held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Phnom Penh.
On this occasion, His Excellency congratulated Legend Cinema on its achievements over the past 15 years. He noted its active participation in the development of the Cambodian film sector through the provision of high-quality screening services, the introduction of modern technologies, and the creation of new experiences for audiences.
His Excellency also highlighted that cinemas play a vital role in supporting Khmer films by expanding screening opportunities, arranging suitable schedules, and contributing to the promotion of the national cultural identity. At the same time, the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts will continue to support investments, improve policies, and strengthen cooperation between the public and private sectors to drive the sustainable growth of the Cambodian film industry, establishing it as a crucial soft power for the nation.
