Opening Event of the Vietnamese Culture Week 2026 in the Kingdom of Cambodia

On the evening of May 26, 2026, the opening event of the Vietnamese Culture Week in Cambodia 2026 was organized under the presidency of H.E. Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, and H.E. Trinh Thi Thuy, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, at the Chaktomuk Conference Hall.

Speaking at the opening event of the Vietnamese Culture Week 2026, Her Excellency the Minister stated that for many years, Cambodia and Vietnam have always maintained relations in the spirit of good neighborliness, solidarity, and high mutual understanding. Strengthening the bonds of friendship through the implementation of the cooperation plan agreement on culture and arts has been playing an important role in bridging cultural relations between the two countries.

In addition, Her Excellency the Minister expressed her gratitude and highly evaluated all the leaders and artists of both countries, who have continuously and successfully collaborated to organize the Culture Week events.
