H.E. Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, Receives H.E. Trinh Thi Thuy, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam
On May 25, 2026, H.E. Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received H.E. Trinh Thi Thuy, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, for a courtesy call and working discussion. This meeting took place on the occasion of Her Excellency leading a delegation to organize the “Vietnamese Culture Week in Cambodia 2026” in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap province from May 25 to May 29, 2026.
During the discussion, both sides highly valued their past cooperation within bilateral, ASEAN, and multilateral frameworks. Furthermore, both parties committed to continuing new collaborative efforts in the future, with the goal of further strengthening and deeply promoting the cultural sector between the two nations.
