Celebration of the “Opening Ceremony of the 3rd Wedding Fair 2026”

The Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts participated in displaying traditional Khmer wedding attire at the “3rd Wedding Fair 2026,” under the high presidency of First Lady Her Excellency Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet.

The “3rd Wedding Fair 2026” was held from July 24 to July 26, 2026, at the Premier Centre Sen Sok Conference and Exhibition Hall in Phnom Penh. The event aimed to preserve and maintain the fine cultural traditions of Khmer ancestors, while promoting Khmer traditional culture and Cambodian wedding customs on the international stage to raise awareness of Khmer identity, civilization, characteristics, and style.

In line with the population policy of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the exhibition also sought to promote family values, encourage new couples to establish families according to Khmer laws and traditions, and continue the Khmer lineage to maintain a balanced demographic structure and ensure abundant human resources to drive national development.
