H.E. Academician Minister of Culture and Fine Arts Visits Displaced Families in Preah Vihear Province

On July 5, 2026, in a spirit of deep dedication to the well-being and livelihoods of the people, Her Excellency Academician Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, along with her accompanying delegation, visited and met with displaced citizens. During the visit, she inquired about the living conditions of the displaced people currently residing in houses built by the Royal Government of Cambodia, which were provided to citizens who lost their homes due to the destruction caused by invading enemies.

On that occasion, Her Excellency advised the citizens, particularly pregnant women, to pay close attention to maintaining good health. She emphasized the importance of practicing good living hygiene—such as drinking clean water and eating safe food—to ensure strong health. Furthermore, she urged all citizens to join hands in cleaning their surroundings, maintaining the sanitation of toilets, and properly disposing of garbage. Above all, she encouraged them to help and support one another in the spirit of being fellow Cambodian compatriots.
