Her Excellency Academician Minister Phoeurng Sackona Presides over Opening of China-Cambodia Cultural Heritage Festival at Factory Phnom Penh

On the evening of September 4, 2026, Her Excellency Academician Minister Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, alongside His Excellency Wang Wenbin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Cambodia, co-presided over the opening ceremony of the China-Cambodia Cultural Heritage Festival at Factory Phnom Penh. Organized by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Cambodia in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, the event was held under the theme “Homeland Heritage – Sharing Beauty.”

The festival serves as a cultural platform designed to:

• Showcase the rich traditional arts, living customs, and heritage of both Cambodia and China
• Reaffirm the long-standing bilateral friendship between the two nations
• Act as a bridge connecting history, civilization, and people-to-people understanding between Cambodia and China
