Her Excellency Longdy Sannara, Secretary of State, Presides Over Seminar on “Together Preventing and Suppressing Drug Problems, E-Cigarettes, and Promoting the Use of the NoDrug App”
On July 30, 2026, Her Excellency Longdy Sannara, Secretary of State, representing Her Excellency Academician Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, presided over a workshop under the theme “Together Preventing and Suppressing Drug Problems, E-Cigarettes, and Promoting the Use of the NoDrug App” at the Secondary School of Fine Arts.
On that occasion, Her Excellency the Secretary of State expressed her high appreciation and gratitude for the dedication of the leadership and the drug education, prevention, and control working group of the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts in organizing this seminar. Her Excellency also extended a warm welcome to Excellencies, ladies, gentlemen, teachers, students, and especially representatives from the 25 Capital-Provincial Departments of Culture and Fine Arts who traveled from afar, highlighting their strong commitment and active participation in combating drug issues.
The workshop was conducted with the following objectives:
- Introduce and promote the use of the NoDrug App, an effective tool for reporting and receiving educational information regarding drugs.
- Raise awareness and educate on the severe harm caused by drug abuse and e-cigarette usage.
- Jointly prevent and suppress the spread of all forms of illicit substances within society, particularly among youth.
