Participation of Cambodian experts in the regional dialogue on “Asia-Pacific Dialogue on Heritage and Authenticity.”

From September 27 to October 1, 2026, two Cambodian World Heritage experts representing the National Authority for Preah Vihear and the National Authority for Sambor Prei Kuk, under the cooperation and coordination of the Cambodian National Commission for UNESCO, attended the regional dialogue on “Asia-Pacific Dialogue on Heritage and Authenticity” in Hanoi and Ninh Binh, Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

This regional dialogue provided Cambodia with an opportunity to share experiences and exchange knowledge with international experts regarding heritage conservation and restoration, as well as the vital role of local communities in maintaining the authenticity of heritage. Through discussions and the active contributions of Cambodian experts to “The Ha Noi Outcome Document,” Cambodia demonstrated its commitment to collective efforts aimed at strengthening the protection and management of World Heritage for present and future generations.
