Planting 400 Peacock Trees Along the Road to Preah Vihear Temple to Celebrate Arbor Day on July 9

To celebrate Arbor Day on July 9 and enhance environmental aesthetics, the National Authority for Preah Vihear, in collaboration with local authorities, organized a joint tree-planting campaign under the meaningful theme: “Together We Plant Trees for a Beautiful Environment in Our Community.”

During this event, 400 Peacock trees were planted in decorative rows along both sides of the road, starting from the Sra’aem roundabout towards the Preah Vihear Temple site. Today’s tree planting is not merely the fulfillment of a customary obligation, but an investment in nature for future aesthetic beauty and sustainable tourism development.
