Press Release: Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts Launches UNESCO-Supported Initiative to Strengthen Cambodia’s Cultural and Creative Economy

The Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, with support from the International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD) of UNESCO, has commenced the implementation of the project titled “Strengthening the Ecosystem of Cambodia’s Creative Economy: Formulating National Policy and Establishing a Pilot Support Hub.”

This project aims to strengthen cultural and creative industries in Cambodia through evidence-based policy development, institutional capacity building, and the establishment of a support hub for artists, innovators, and cultural entrepreneurs. These efforts seek to foster innovation, create quality jobs, and promote the cultural sector as a driving force for sustainable national economic development.
