Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts organizes a consultative workshop on the draft amendment to the Law on Copyright and Related Rights.
On September 28, 2026, the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts organized a “Consultative Workshop on the Draft Amendment to the Law on Copyright and Related Rights,” presided over by His Excellency Long Ponnasirivath, Secretary of State and high representative of Her Excellency Academician Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, with participation from legal experts, trainee lawyers, sub-national officials, and relevant stakeholders.
The purpose of this workshop was to gather additional input to ensure consistency with national laws, conventions, treaties, and various trade agreements related to copyright to which Cambodia is a party, as well as alignment with the national policy on intellectual property and the context of the digital technology era.
