APSARA National Authority Distributes an Additional 14,345 Mixed Tree Saplings to the Public
The APSARA National Authority, through its Department of Water, Forestry, and Infrastructure Management, distributed an additional 14,345 tree saplings free of charge to the public across various provinces between July 21 and August 3, 2026. The mixed saplings provided included Choeu Teal (Dipterocarpus alatus), Kranhoung (Siamese Rosewood), Beng, Thnong, Chres, Koki, Phdiek, Kako, Angkanh, and various wild flowering species. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to help increase forest cover in Cambodia. Members of the public who wish to plant trees on their private land or at various institutions can contact the APSARA National Authority to request saplings free of charge.
