APSARA National Authority Holds Working Meeting with Beijing Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau Delegation
On the morning of August 26, 2026, His Excellency Dr. Hang Peou, Director General of the APSARA National Authority, accompanied by relevant colleagues, held a working meeting with a delegation from the Beijing Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau, led by Director General Ms. Zhang Lixin.
The meeting aimed to exchange knowledge and share experiences regarding the management and conservation of World Cultural Heritage, with the goal of exploring possibilities for future cooperation between the two institutions.
During their four-day visit to Siem Reap Province from August 25 to 28, 2026, the delegation from the Beijing Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau will also conduct field visits to study conservation and restoration sites at several temples within the Angkor site.
