Her Excellency Academician Minister Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts and President of the Board of Directors of the APSARA National Authority, Inspects Ongoing Work in the Angkor Region

On August 09, 2026, Her Excellency Academician Minister Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts and President of the Board of Directors of the APSARA National Authority, conducted an inspection of several projects in the Angkor region. These included the road setup on the West Baray dike, the restoration of the dike and West Mebon Temple in preparation for the 20th Francophonie Summit in 2026, the master planning for Preah Ang Kok Thlok Pagoda, the restoration and visitor circuit arrangements at Bayon Temple, the restoration of the Victory Gate, as well as the development of the Hospitality Center and Information Center.
