H.E. Dr. Hei Virak Visits Former Director of Kampong Cham Department of Culture and Fine Arts
On the morning of Friday, July 17, 2026, H.E. Dr. Hei Virak, Head of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia Working Group for the Culture and Fine Arts Sector, representing Her Excellency Academician Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, visited Mr. Chhuon Sophat, former Director of the Kampong Cham Provincial Department of Culture and Fine Arts, at his residence in Prey Toting Village, Chrey Vien Commune, Prey Chhor District, Kampong Cham Province.
On that occasion, His Excellency conveyed warm greetings from H.E. Hun Many, President of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia, and Her Excellency Academician Dr. Phoeurng Sackona. He also expressed gratitude to Mr. Chhuon Sophat for his dedicated time and effort in serving the institution, as well as his active contributions to leading, preserving, and promoting Khmer culture, traditional arts, and national identity for many years. Additionally, His Excellency presented Mr. Chhuon Sophat with a financial gift from Her Excellency Academician Dr. Phoeurng Sackona along with a gift basket of fruit.
