H.E. Hab Touch, Permanent Secretary of State of the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, attended the ” 2026 ASEAN Culture Cooperation and Exchange Forum ” held in Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China, taking place from July 13 to 16, 2026.

On the morning of July 15, 2026, H.E. Hab Touch, Permanent Secretary of State, attended and delivered a speech at the official opening ceremony of the “2026 ASEAN Culture Cooperation and Exchange Forum” under the theme “Innovative and Joint Regional Preservation to Promote World Heritage,” with the participation of representatives of senior Chinese leaders and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, the Mayor of Chongzuo City, national guests, experts in the field of cultural heritage and tourism, as well as delegation representatives from ASEAN countries and Australia.
The forum was organised with the aim of promoting the preservation of heritage properties, encouraging cultural exchange, sharing knowledge in the fields of technology and innovation, and strengthening closer cooperation between China and ASEAN towards a community with a shared future.
The program also featured a panel discussion among various experts in the fields of culture, tourism, and technology under the theme “World Cultural Heritage Protection in the Era of Artificial Intelligence” and celebrated the 10th anniversary of the inscription of the “Zuojiang Huashan Rock Art Cultural Landscape” into the World Heritage List.
