His Excellency Hab Touch Represents Her Excellency Academician Minister Phoeurng Sackona at National Workshop on Promoting Film Tourism in Cambodia

On August 20, 2026, His Excellency Hab Touch, Permanent Secretary of State at the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, representing Her Excellency Academician Minister Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, and Vice Chairman of the Inter-Ministerial Working Group to Coordinate and Support Film Tourism and Nighttime Temple Visits in Cambodia, attended the National Workshop on Promoting Film Tourism in Cambodia, held at the Empress Angkor Hotel in Siem Reap Province.

The national workshop was presided over by His Excellency Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Inter-Ministerial Working Group to Coordinate and Support Film Tourism and Nighttime Temple Visits in Cambodia. The event brought together over 200 participants, including Vice Chairs and members of the inter-ministerial working group, representatives from relevant ministries and institutions, the private sector, tourism associations, the Cambodia Film Association, artist associations, filmmakers, performers, as well as national and international honored guests.

This national workshop serves as a vital platform to build bridges and foster dialogue among state institutions, film industry operators, and tourism stakeholders. Together, they aim to explore new opportunities, address existing challenges, and define key strategies to enhance the development and competitiveness of film tourism in Cambodia.
