Inter-Ministerial Meeting on the Announcement of the Composition, Roles, and Duties of the Inter-Ministerial Working Group Related to UNESCO’s Tentative List

On the afternoon of June 2, 2026, Her Excellency Academician Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts and Chair of the Inter-Ministerial Working Group, led an inter-ministerial meeting to announce the composition, roles, and duties of the Inter-Ministerial Working Group for reviewing and evaluating nomination documents for cultural heritage, natural heritage, and mixed heritage onto UNESCO’s Tentative List.

The meeting discussed coordination mechanisms and cooperation among relevant ministries and institutions to promote the preparation and evaluation of UNESCO Tentative List nomination documents to ensure quality, efficiency, and alignment with international standards.
