The Government of Japan Provides a Garbage Truck to the Preah Vihear National Authority to Support Environmental Preservation at the Koh Ker World Heritage Site

The Government of Japan, through the Ministry of Environment, has provided a garbage truck to the Preah Vihear National Authority to contribute to the promotion of environmental sanitation and more effective waste management within the Koh Ker World Heritage Site.

The official handover ceremony took place at the Ministry of Environment on April 27, 2026, presided over by H.E. Dr. Eang Sophalleth, Minister of Environment, and H.E. UENO Atsushi, Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia.

The Preah Vihear National Authority expresses its deepest gratitude to the Government of Japan and the Ministry of Environment for providing this vehicle and for their commitment to environmental protection, sanitation enhancement, and the management of all types of waste at the Koh Ker temple site.
