Announcement: Applications for the Asian Project Market (APM) 2026

The Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts would like to inform all Cambodian filmmakers that applications for the Asian Project Market (APM) 2026 are now open from today until May 18, 2026.

APM is a premier platform in Asia for feature-length fiction film projects to connect with international partners, including investors, producers, and distributors. In 2026, the program will select film projects from Korea and across Asia at various stages of production, from early development to post-production.

• Application Deadline: Until May 18, 2026
• How to Apply: Submit online via the official APM website.
• Eligibility Criteria:
  • Must be an Asian feature-length fiction film project.
  • Projects scheduled for completion before APM 2026 are ineligible.
  • Projects that are already fully funded are ineligible.
  • The project must have a director and producer attached.
  • The director must have directed at least one previous project (short or feature film).
  • The producer must have produced or co-produced at least one previous feature film.
  • The applicant must be the copyright holder or have authorization from the owner to submit the project.
• Benefits for Selected Projects:
  • An invitation to participate in the Asian Project Market in Busan, South Korea.
  • The opportunity to pitch the project to international partners.
  • Eligibility to compete for APM awards.
