His Excellency Hab Touch Receives Dr. Nhil Ratana, President of Soviet and Russian Alumni Association of Cambodia

On the afternoon of September 7, 2026, His Excellency Hab Touch, Permanent Secretary of State and high representative of Her Excellency Academician Minister Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, received a courtesy visit from Dr. Nhil Ratana, President of the Soviet and Russian Alumni Association of Cambodia, along with a delegation of 12 Cambodian youth representatives, to pay a courtesy call and receive guidance.

During the meeting, His Excellency the Permanent Secretary of State shared experiences as well as the roles and duties of the Ministry in preserving, developing, and promoting both tangible and intangible cultural heritage.

In addition, His Excellency conveyed congratulatory remarks and best wishes from Her Excellency Academician Minister to the Cambodian youth delegation, who were carefully selected by the organizing committee to participate in the upcoming World Youth Festival 2026 in the Russian Federation.

On his own behalf, His Excellency expressed high appreciation for the youth delegation representing Cambodia. He also shared copies of the publications UNESCO World Heritage and CAMBODIA Your Next Film Destination for the youth to display at exhibitions and place in libraries in the Russian Federation. In particular, His Excellency advised the young delegates, serving as cultural ambassadors representing Cambodia, to actively promote Cambodia’s rich cultural heritage while maintaining a gentle and dignified demeanor as the bamboo shoots—the future leaders—of Cambodia.
